For the 2025-26 season, Medford Youth Basketball will have teams in the MetroWest Basketball League for boys and girls grade 5-8.  

Everyone must register to tryout (see "Register" at the top of the homepage).   Once tryouts are complete, there will be evaluations and team placements.   It is possible that not every participant that goes to tryouts will make a team.   That will be determined on the number of teams and the skills of each player.

Tryouts will be held at Medford High School from 6-9PM on October 15th and October 20th.   The specific hour of your player's tryout will be emailed when we get closer to the tryout dates.   If possible, please have your player attend both tryouts.

To set expectations, the cost for the upcoming season will be approximately $300 (which includes uniforms) - those details will be finalized in the coming weeks as well.
